2018 Chevy Orlando Price, Review

The 2018 Chevy Orlando is a typical family vehicle and hence family-centric are its priorities. Chevy has been producing compact MPVs targeted towards mid-size families. The Chevy Orlando is no exception. This 5 door MPV based on Chevy Cruze made its first appearance in Paris and then American Auto shows.Although Chevy planned to launch this vehicle for the US market, it changed its mind and made it available for Canadian and South East Asian markets.

The basic Orlando comes with a 1.4-liter Ecotec four cylinder engine which managed to produce about 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. Also came with it was an 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine which produced a little more power to the tune of 139 hp. Both these engine variants were fitted with a 6-speed transmission, manual for the former and automatic for the latter.

While these power options were evidently lower than its competitors in mid-range MPV market. Chevy introduced a 2.4-liter DI Ecotec LAF engine.The  2018 Chevy Orlando aims to produce a decent 174 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque and was mated to a 6 speed Hydra-Matic auto transmission.

Also possible is an inclusion of a 2.0-litre diesel engine for the new Orlando. This turbo engine, which comes in two flavors, are designed to produce 128 hp/232 lb-ft and 161 hp/266 lb-ft. both of these are mated to a 6-speed transmission. While the exact engine configuration for the new Chevy Orlando 2018 is not yet known, Chevy is determined to make this a powerful vehicle suitable for smoother rides.

Although the precise mileage figures are not available as of now. Chevy promises to let the families get the most out of it. The recent emission standards have forced this vehicle maker to make appropriate changes to its engine accordingly.

While not much is yet known about the appearance of this new vehicle. The Chevy Orlando 2018 is meant to be a powerful reliable MPV. The position of the fog lights has changed and newer sets of grilles have been added.

This new vehicle is meant to be spacious and equipped with all family comfort features like stabilization and traction control. Infotainment is managed by the music systems equipped together with climate control features.

2018 Chevy Orlando – Pricing and Release Date

The 2018 Chevy Orlando exceeds customers’ expectations with a better engine and stability features. Exact release date of this new vehicle is not yet known. It’s expected to be priced at $23,000 for the base petrol engine trim.
