SUV lovers everywhere are going to be thrilled by the release of the 2018 Lincoln MKC. Billed to be even more luxurious than its predecessor, the 2017 model, The 2018 Lincoln MKC is a luxury car you will definitely want to try.

There are an impressive array of features as standards. Such as Lincoln Connect, their 4G WiFi hotspot system and rear parking sensors. As a five-passenger, compact SUV it’s a comfortable and affordable option for anyone in the market for a new SUV.

It will be available in four trims, Premiere, Select, and two luxury options Reserve and Black Label. Even the more budget-friendly option of the Premiere comes with some great features as standard.

2018 Lincoln MKC – Design Changes

Exterior:

The main change to the exterior of the Lincoln MKC 2018 model is the grille design. Previous models had a winged design grille with side panels. The new 2018 Lincoln MKC shakes this up a bit with a single piece grille. In a further refreshing change, the headlights are now LED.

The 2018 MKC Premiere includes HID headlights, keyless entry, reverse sensors, pushbutton start and shift, power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The MKC Reserve adds a hands-free liftgate and optional 19 and 20-inch wheels. The MKC Black Label has 19-inch wheels as standard and exclusive metallic color choices such as Iced Mocha, Blue Diamond, and Rhapsody Blue.

The standard colors available to buyers are Black Velvet, Ingot Silver Metallic, and Magnetic Gray Metallic. Additional colors are available at a charge.

The cabin of the 2018 MKC Lincoln is impressively kitted out.

Features of the Premiere include a rearview camera, Sync 3 interface, heated power front seats, and mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, nine-speaker audio, satellite radio. Upgrading to MKC Select buys you leather seating, a power adjustable steering wheel, LED daytime running lights, ambient lighting, cargo cover and a universal garage door opener. Plus, the option of adding a panoramic sunroof. Opting for the Reserve will add a panoramic sunroof, heated/cooled front seats, navigation, and a 110-volt outlet.

The ultimate luxury version, the Black Label comes with Venetian leather seats and ebony painted 19-inch aluminum wheel as standard. Buying the Black Label allows you to choose one of three interior themes.

Additional optional features available with Reserve and Black Label are a14-speaker THX II sound system and a Climate Package. The Climate Package includes heated rear seats and steering wheel, automatic high beams, automatic wipers and a wiper de-icer.

Buyers can also add a technology package, to provide forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and an automatic parking system.

2018 Lincoln MKC – Engine and Performance

The standard engine on all models is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This gives 240 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque and is hooked up to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Buyers of Select, Reserve and Black Label trims can optionally add AWD and a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that provides a mighty 285 hp and 305 pound-feet of torque.

2018 Lincoln MKC – Release Date and Price

The 2018 Lincoln MKC should be available late September for purchase.

Pricing will start at $34,280 for the 2018 MKC Premier, with the top price MKC Black Label starting at $49,305.
