Launched in Ingolstadt, Germany, the 2019 Audi A7 features an array of outstanding driving tech. Since its debut in 2012, the A7 hasn’t evolved much, but lately, that has changed.
The 2019 Audi A7 incorporates a fully redesigned Audi’s shape together with new tech features. Even though it hasn’t changed much, thinner LED headlights, larger openings in the lower front and a wider grill distinguishes it from its predecessor models.
2019 Audi A7 – Fresh and Unique Design
One of the major modifications is in the interior design. The 2019 Audi A7 features Audi’s latest infotainment system. The system replaces the rotary control knob for two vertically stacked touchscreen with audible and haptic feedback. The screens are projected towards the driver with the 10.1-inch screen controlling radio and navigation.
The lower 8.6-inch screen is used for text input and climate control. For comfortability, the A7 has a new adjustable front seat with ventilation, heating and massage functions. Additionally, it has two separate rear seating options with the model available as a four and five-seater. A notable difference with the 2019 Audi A7 is the three-spoke steering wheel instead of the two- spoke wheel on the A8. The slick, virtual cockpit system with a configurable 12.3-inch multi-information display replaces the analog gauges.
Exterior Design and Safety Features
The exterior of the 2019 Audi A7 draws some inspiration from the larger A8. It features 21-inches alloy wheels in diameter. The LED headlights come in three variants incorporating Audi’s matrix LED with laser technology. Like most sedans, the A7 appears long with short overhangs. The taillights contain 13 distinct segments that light up when the car is locked and unlocked. The vehicle will be offered in 15 colors out of which eight will be new.
Similar to the previous models, the 2019 Audi A7 incorporates a series of sentient driving features. Audi connect has been upgraded to accommodate car to x services that send out accident warning and hazard information to other cars. The driving assistant in the adaptive cruise control system has steering interventions to help keep the driver in their lane.
